Can you say overwhelmed?
It's been a good week, I've done everything I set out to do.
I've been to Curves 3 times this week (hence forth and forever to be referred to as "Physical Therapy")
My weight is down, my exercise up, so why do I feel overwhelmed?
Is it possible to make too many changes at one time?
Why do I feel drained, and irritated at perky people?
Shouldn't I be doing the "Woo Hoo Dance?'

Awwwwwww... I don't think it's unusual at all to feel the way you do. You didn't know me when I started MY journey -- but Amanda was my pusher back then (well, she still is somewhat -- but now I'm pretty self-motivated -- she doesn't have to do TOO much pushing anymore) -- but anyway... I was NOT happy! I was more grumbly about the diet thing because the exercise part was what I had WANTED to do -- I never MEANT to "diet" -- I was just going to do enough exercise to lose the weight withOUT dieting! (that's still what I MEAN to do) But as it turns out, I would have to spend 12 hours a day exercising if I was going to do that -- and even in the Summer all I could muster was THREE! LOL! So... in the beginning I was dreading getting home from school every day -- cuz I knew when I got home, I had to get on that BLASTED bike! LOL! (and at the time I was doing GREAT if I pedaled for 15-20 minutes!) Soooooo no. I don't think at this point you have to be Happy Dancing and doing the Woot Woot thing... at this point it's okay to be a little tired, wore out and cranky! You are doing a lot - and you are making HARD changes! And you ARE doing GREAT!!! And I'm very proud!!! Keep it up!

((hugs))I have been struggling and feeling overwhelmed as well. I think for me, this whole dieting and working and being a mommy thing is harder to do all at once.

We have some things in common I found out as I looked at your profile: we're both married to pastors, we both go to curves, I agree with you about your favorite movies- the only things starkly different is our tastes in music, but that's ok!!! Come on by and visit if you like- many of the folks linked on my blog are faithful church goers (I don't use the word 'members' because our church doesn't do that), but I think you'll enjoy it! OK, I've rambled on long enuf, here!
