Poor Lazy Daisy.....

I managed to drag my body out of bed again this morning at 6 a.m. It wasn't pretty and I felt very much like the daisy on the left. After a morning cup of coffee I did a two mile walk in my living room with Leslie Sansone. Mr. Wonderful walked the first mile with me, smiled sweetly and said, I'll have to work up to the second mile.

The rest of morning went pretty much like yesterday. We were pleased to get to work a few minutes early so we could prepare for the volunteers coming in to help us sort and box hospital linens for Haiti.

We had 21 people arrive to help with the Haiti relief project. It was hard work trying to keep ahead of the group to make sure every one had something to do. We ended up processing 3 pallets of hospital linens. I didn't have to worry about getting my 10,000 steps in today. I already have over 15,000.

Today is my carb up day. I had extra thin pizza for dinner and treated myself to a peppermint patty. I love carb up days. I figured the two extra miles today would definitely help compensate for the extra calories.

Hope your day went well. Looks like we are in for snow tomorrow.

Daisy Dilemma: How come commitment to exercise never gets easier?

Labels:

I would imagine there is no shortage of people who are willing to help process ANYTHING going to Haiti! Those poor people over there... I would so love to adopt a child from one of those orphanages. *sigh*

Exercise is what it is. It does actually get easier... and a bit more enjoyable... but it NEVER gets easier to make yourself START! It's just taking that first pedal, or turning on the DVD and getting that first step going...

I just took two muscle relaxers in hopes that if my back gets a good RELAXED night's rest, that I'll be able to make it through aerobics tomorow night. We'll see!

Keep on gettin' her! Tell Lesli I said HI tomorrow morning! ;)
