Weigh In Week2......Jackpot!

It's Monday.....The day all good diets start. You blow it on the weekend and say to yourself....I'll start over Monday.

It's been a good week, I implemented most of my observations from last week so I was expecting a Big Payoff this week. So I was delighted to see 3 pounds lost!

(Melli, this only goes to prove my theory that weight is neither lost nor gained it is simply redistrubed....some must gain so others may lose. Thanks for taking on my 3 pounds this past week so I could register a loss!)

Two week total.......4 hard fought pounds!

A whole new set of numbers on the scale!

5 Things I did Right this week!

1. I wrote down my food, calorie content, exercise, BP, and how I felt each day.
2. I quit nightly "grazing"
3. I exercised 3 times during the week for at least half an hour.
4. I worked at the mission lifting 30 and 40 pound boxes for 2 days (strength training?)
5. I ate well and consequently felt well all week.

5 Things that need to improve:

1. I want to exercise every day for at least a half and hour and add the 3 mile walk at least twice during the week. ( I only got in two 2 mile walks and one 3 mile walk last week)
2. I want to cook up some entries in advance so they are available when the snacking monster hits. This seems to work out well for me. (Boy, am I enjoying the home made salsa!)
3. I need to keep red light foods out of sight so I'm not tempted to eat it. ( salty chips )
4. I want to keep an upbeat attitude......I think I can, I think I can.....so I can. (and I did!)
5. I need to get to bed by 11 o'clock at night. (I did better but improvement still needed. )

Daisy Dilemma: Was this a flux? Can I continue to consistenly lose?

Quote of the Day:
Preserving health by too severe a rule is a wearisome malady. - La Rochefoucauld (ain't that the truth!)

Mood: upbeat

What a great result! That is awesome! Your goals for next week sound great too.

Good for you! You are so organized too! I know what I need to do, but haven't been organized enough to post it and update it! You have set good goals. Keep it up! You'll be there before you know it!

LOL! My pleasure sweety! But only this ONCE!!! I'm back on the losing track too -- and those 3 pounds don't seem to be too sticky -- I think I'll show a loss for my two weeks on Friday!

You CAN continue to have positive results! Oh yes you CAN! (They just might not be all QUITE that BIG!) 3 pounds is a HUGE loss for one week! WAY TO GOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

Oh... by the way! I noticed the new numbers on the scale up above! YAY! What number do you have to achieve for us to meet? ( i think i should be privvy to that information! )
