The Biggest Loser.syndrome
I admit to watching the Biggest Loser in my easy chair every week watching the contestants work out and sweat. The results have been dramatics for them but guess what....it hasn't motivated me to work out equally as hard.
We all like success stories but none of us like to put the work into it that will actually get us to that place. It was heart breaking to watch the girls work so hard and not get the dramatic results the guys got week after week.
The guys got really cocky and arrogant so it was thrilling for me to see a woman win the title for the first time in show's history. Jillian Michaels said it best “She’s a dream come true for me. I just think she’s inspiration incarnate and she’s sending a message to women out there that when you connect your mind and your body and your attention, anything is possible.”
I'm still working on getting the mind/body connection to work for me.

That's what I have to do too -- connect mind and body -- but I'm adding SPIRIT in there -- and I'm counting on Jesus to HELP ME OUT here!!! So far, He's doing pretty good!
