Still Wrestling
Still wrestling with a few problems here. It's been a week and I'm finally over the urinary tract infection just to have it replaced by a yeast infection from the antibiotic! I'm beginning to wonder if I'm ever going to start feeling "just ok".
Saturday I over did as we had a group from Pennsylvania staying at the mission and working. They were a great group and I really enjoyed being with them but I paid for it later in exhaustion.
I forget that I'm running on reserves (or rather watered down gasoline) and that I can't make quick acceleration's any more. I'm definitively a marathoner and not a sprinter.
I'm home today.....doing the laundry, and getting out receipts letters. Trying to start a gradual exercise program. I gained weight this week.....I'm not sure how I managed that but it is discouraging to say the least.
Daisy Dilemma: I think my metabolism has gone into starvation mode and is holding on to every calorie.....any suggestions?

You shouldn't be in starvation mode if you are eating 6 little (and aren't they all?) meals a day. As long as you are feeding frequently you should not be in starvation... I think exercise is going to be the key. But I'm sure that IS waaaaaaay discouraging! When do you see the doctor again? I'm curious what HE/SHE would say about this? I know you can NOT be eating more calories than what you are burning. Maybe it's a SCALE thing! You knOW how monstrous those machines can be!!!

Did your sister ever have that happen? A week with a gain?
