Motivational Mondays.....Weigh In

Ok......drum roll.....(holding breath, stepping on scale, saying a prayer!) and the verdict?

One pound! The crowd goes wild, the band breaks into "Happy Days are here again". The Mayor hands me the key to the city.

Well, at least in my dreams. Yep, One pound down 9 to go.

Am I'm bummed? Somewhat but that means there is lots of room for improvement. So taking some cues for my Dieting Diva TC here's what I did well and what needs to improve.

5 Things I did well this past week:

1. I started writing down my food, calorie content, exercise, BP, and how I felt each day.
2. I quit nightly "grazing"
3. I exercised 3 times during the week for at least half an hour.
4. I started back with the community Beth Moore Bible Study on David.
5. I think I discovered the cause for the days I feel horrible (reflux?) .

5 Things that need to improve:

1. I want to exercise every day for at least a half and hour and add the 3 mile walk at least twice during the week.
2. I want to cook up some entries in advance so they are available when the snacking monster hits.
3. I want to figure out with my Doctor "What's going on with the ringing in my ear, and "Ishy" feeling (appointment Tuesday afternoon, seeing the Dentist this afternoon!)
4. I want to keep an upbeat attitude......I think I can, I think I can.....so I can.
5. I need to get to bed by 11 o'clock at night.

Daisy Dilemma: I'm on a campaign to eliminate "Ishy".

Quote of the Day: "If at first you don't succeed, Failure may be your style!"

Mood: Hopeful
