New Year, New Start!
Welcome 2008! A New Year , a fresh start.
I've decided not to make resolutions as I rarely keep them and they seem to be the same every year (so obviously I'm not making any progress with them.)
I've decided what I want to concentrate on is "Making Good Choices" this year.
This is pretty broad in that it covers my choices for eating, spending my time, what I watch, read, and how I will react.
Today started off a little rocky but ended well. I made good choices in what I ate and the portions but I was impatient and unkind to my Mr. Wonderful. The day got better after I gave it over to the Lord and apologized.
I was amazed at everything that did get done today.....even repairing the motor on the wood fire box outside as the temperatures are supposed to drop tonight. Thanks Lord I needed that nudge! Help me to pray about the small things in my life before they become the big things.
Thought for the day:
"The indispensable first step to getting the
things you want out of life is this:
decide what you want."
- Ben Stein

I had to comment here before your regular blog. Miss Daisy, you are doing very well. I seriously started a program a month ago and have gained 6 pounds but lost 3 points of body fat. I'm determined to be fit by spring....ok..maybe summer.
Let's keep up the good work!!
